This contract site is a seven day store requiring staff support seven days per week day and night

Job Description: Manage Shelf Stocking, Janitorial, and Warehousing at the NAS Jacksonville Commissary Contract for profitability, and high quality outcomes. Maintain direct labor ratios in accordance with AbilityOne Program guidelines and standards. Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the Contracting Officer, Store Director, Staff, and Quality Assurance Evaluator. Conduct business in a highly ethical and respectful manner and oversee satisfactory completion of all requirements of the Performance Work Statement.

Responsibilities and duties of this position include

  1. Operate the project in an efficient and profitable manner.
  2. Maintain budgeted financial benchmarks.
  3. Make daily reports to the Vice President of Business Development and or Senior Project Manager.
  4. Exercise continuous process improvement in all performance areas of the contract.
  5. Provide quality customer service.
  6. Direct subordinate supervisors and conduct proper follow up
  7. Submit AbilityOne employee evaluations to Human Resources, on time
  8. Monitor and maintain 75% direct labor ratio.
  9. Meet all minimum standard requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  10. Set and enforce production standards in all performance areas.
  11. Regularly measure and evaluate employee productivity. Report findings to the SPM.
  12. Develop and enforce efficient work schedules for all employees assigned to the project.
  13. Conduct daily Quality Control Inspections using the CompuClean inspection program.
  14. Maintain MITC time keeping for all employees.
  15. Forward the monthly case count sheet to the Contracts Division by the 2nd work day of each month.
  16. Monitor equipment maintenance and upkeep and control costs for equipment, supplies and labor.
  17. Order approved supplies and equipment necessary for the performance of all contract work.
  18. Conduct periodic Safety training for all assigned employees
  19. Attend any mandatory meetings scheduled by the Vice President of Business Development
  20. Meet with the Commissary Director Monthly to discuss performance. Record and submit minutes to the VP
  21. Assist preparing annual budgets
  22. Follow all agency policies and procedures
  23. Submit all Reclamas to the Contracting Officer within 48 hours
  24. Submit all REA's to the VP and SPM
  25. Other duties as assigned




  1. Demonstrated knowledge of developmental disabilities and at least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities in the same field.
  2. Microsoft Office experience and computer knowledge required
  3. Knowledge of the contracts and monitoring guidelines
  4. Must have at least 3 years of supervisory skills
  5. Must possess good people skills
  6. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  7. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors year round
  8. Must be able to twist, stoop, bend, reach, pull, stand and walk for up to ten hours a day
  9. Must be able to pass a FDLE background investigation
  10. Must be able to pass a Department of Defense Background investigation and maintain eligibility to hold a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) card.
